Finding a Wii this Christmas

Many analysts and consumers that the Wii would be everywhere you looked for the Holiday/Christmas season, since it was unveiled in the late 2006 year. However, every since it was released, the demand for a Wii console has resulted in the item being rare around the holiday season. Why is the Nintendo Wii so hard to find in stores today?

The first reason why the Wii is so hard to find is because the demand is much higher than the supply. The Wii is affordable and simply. The Xbox and PS3 are between $300 to $600, while the Wii starts at only $250.

Teenagers and parents are much more attracted to the Wii because it has the lowest price of all the new systems. However, does a cheap system mean that you will have a cheaper experience? Well, millions of people who have bought a Wii don't appear to think so. Just the fact that people say the Wii has surpassed any other console shows how a huge amount of people react to it.

Another thing that makes the Nintendo Wii special is its remote controllers. Generations have gone by, and people have grown up with a hand-held remote that required pressing up-down-left-right to move your character. However, with a Wii controller, you can have all sorts of ad-on, even nun chuck. This allows for arm and hand motion instead of just the thumb moving. A controller like the nun chucks can be used for a fishing pole, because, just like you cast a fishing pole, you would cast out the remote.
In fact, some people have even written testimonials and blogs about how the Wii has helped them lose weight. Interestingly, there are several weight loss plans, on the Wii, that have proven to help weight loss. It's obvious that the Wii console is different than any other console with many attractive qualities.

You may not know, but the demand for Wii's has even caused logistical problems. Nintendo wasn't ready to supply the proper amount of Wii's to the amount of demanding customers. Therefore, there was a shortage on the parts that were used in the Wii console.

Nonetheless, a shopper can still find Wii's without waiting at the stores for delivery. Because the Wii console is in great demand, people have turned to auction sites to buy Wii's.
